Jadon Sancho’s potential exit from Manchester United is in danger of collapsing with the winger unable to agree personal terms with Roma.

The Italian side want to sign Sancho on loan with an obligation to make the move permanent for a fee of around £20m.

Manchester United are prepared to accept the offer for the outcast winger, but a failure to agree personal terms has seen the deal stall.

Sancho has spent the past 18 months out on loan, first with Borussia Dortmund and latterly with Chelsea.

Chelsea’s loan move also contained an obligation to make the move permanent, though the Blues paid an optional £5m get-out fee after also failing to reach an agreement on salary with Sancho.

Sancho has 12 months to run on his Manchester United contract, worth around £250,000-a-week. He is unwilling to take a significant cut to leave Old Trafford, despite not featuring in Ruben Amorim’s plans.

Turkish side Besiktas have also enquired about a deal and are willing to meet the asking price. However, Sancho is not currently willing to consider a move to the Turkish Süper Lig.
