Juventus player Samuel Mbangula’s agent stood in surprise after his client’s exquisite performance against Como.

Speaking in an interview with Alfredo Pedulla, Juventus Next Gen player Samuel Mbangula’s agent Grace Diamouangana was left in awe along with the fans after watching the young Belgian score the opener against Como. It was also the Bianconeri’s first goal of the season as it was their season opener.

The agent said: “Honestly, I didn’t expect him to start, the boy didn’t expect it either. When he told me after knowing, we were very happy and I was convinced he would play a great match. I think the coach rewarded him for his work in training”. It had been a moment to cherish for the 20-year-old who stood out in training to get the nod to start from manager Thiago Motta.

Diamouangana also expressed his thoughts on Mbangula’s chances of becoming a permanent addition to the first team after his terrific debut performance. He said: “As for his permanence in the first team, it’s the management’s responsibility and decision. I can’t say more”.
