Saint-Étienne are set to strengthen their backroom staff with two new additions, including a high-profile appointment from Manchester City. Norwegian head coach Eirik Horneland has already surrounded himself with trusted lieutenants Andrea Loberto and Hassan El-Fakiri. According to Le Progrès former City performance specialist Donough Holohan joins as Director of Performance, after thirteen years with the Premier League champions, during which he oversaw key innovations across the club’s modern title-winning era.

Holohan will oversee the performance department at ASSE, linking the medical and sporting sectors, previously overseen in part by Thierry Cotte.
