Belgium have confirmed Romelu Lukaku has left their latest camp with a fresh injury issue.

The Roma loanee reported for duty with Domenico Tedesco's side ahead of their double-header of friendlies later this month.

But Lukaku has already been ruled out of Saturday's encounter with the Republic of Ireland due to a groin problem.

"Romelu Lukaku is not fit for the game against the Rep. of Ireland due to a slightly overloaded groin," confirmed a Red Devils' statement.

"He left the camp but will travel with the team on Friday to the Rep. of Ireland and England."

Lukaku has scored 26 goals in 42 appearances for club and country to date this season.
