Serie A Roma will now get to keep Paulo Dybala at the club and it seems as if La Joya was never really convinced by the move to Al-Qadsiah in Saudi Arabia.

Dybala made it clear yesterday that he will stay at the club, rejecting a huge offer from the Middle East club.

Corriere della Sera today have reported that Dybala was ‘never convinced’ about the move. After he met the fans for what seemed like the last time yesterday, he held a key meeting with his entourage and reiterated his choice about the fact that the move to Saudi wasn’t tempting him.

The lifestyle change would have been too radical for him and he was also quite affected by the love from the fans. He told many people close to him that ‘I’m staying for the love of fans and Roma.’

A complete agreement was never reached between the two clubs either. Roma were receiving less than €4 million in the deal, but Dybala’s entourage was receiving a commission of €8 million. La Joya informed the club about his decision after informing those close to him.
