Roma view Palmeiras star Richard Rios as primary midfield target | OneFootball

With the Giallorossi keen on bolstering the midfield, Roma have identified Palmeiras star Richard Rios as their primary target in the middle of the park.

Sky Sport reports, via ForzaRoma.info, that former Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini rates the 25-year-old very highly and is eager to lure Rios to the Capital club.

Yesterday evening, exploratory contacts have been made by the Giallorossi in order to understand the situation of the Colombian international and whether a move is indeed possible.

At the moment, the Brazilian giants have set a price tag of €30m in order to willingly let the central play-maker depart the club.

The Giallorossi face competition for the Colombian star as Inter are also intrigued by Rios as a possible signing within Christian Chivu’s three-man midfield.
