Gian Piero Gasperini, who already tried to bring him to Bergamo last year, remains a great admirer of the Anglo-Danish talent.

A year ago, Gasperini had managed to convince O’Riley to accept Bergamo as his next destination, before Brighton’s relaunched with an improved offer and snatched the player from Celtic and brought him to the Premier League.

Now, with the summer just around the corner, according to Nicolò Schira, Roma are also closely observing the situation.

O’Riley’s profile is intriguing and could become a concrete objective, especially if the Giallorossi club were to decide to strengthen the midfield. With Leandro Paredes on his way out, O’Riley could be brought in as the Argentine’s replacement.
