Roma reject Villareal’s loan proposal for Dovbyk | OneFootball

Artem Dovbyk’s future at Roma continues to be the subject of transfer market speculations.

The Ukrainian striker hasn’t convinced Gian Piero Gasperini, and as a result Roma is working on Fabio Silva, to whom the coach has already presented the project.

Villarreal had recently approached the new Giallorossi number 9, but a transfer to the Spanish club currently appears complicated.

As reported by Matteo Moretto, there are no concrete negotiations between the two clubs for Dovbyk.

The Giallorossi are asking €40 million to sell their striker, but Marcelino’s club is unwilling to pay that amount.

Villareal reportedly verbally proposed a loan, but this idea was rejected by Roma.
