Roma are reportedly eager to part ways with Lorenzo Pellegrini.

In recent days, the capital club are said to have sent intermediaries around Europe to canvass the continent’s top leagues for potential suitors for the Italian midfielder.

Two requests for information have arrived from West Ham and Besiktas, but they were not considered by the footballer, who would like to stay in Rome, reports Corriere dello Sport.

Pellegrini wants to give his all and then decide his future with the club in the winter. That means whether he deserves a contract renewal or wants a change of scenery. Roma would avoid this option in an attempt to raise immediate cash. Frederic Massara would like to cash in around ten million and eliminate part of the €11 million gross salary Lorenzo would earn this season.

Pellegrini doesn’t want to leave, but if tempting offers were to arrive from Italy or England, he would reluctantly consider them.
