Roma are being linked with Feyenoord attacker Igor Paixao.
The Giallorossi are busy preparing strategies for the next summer market with a clear goal: to increase the attacking potential of the team.Claudio Ranieri, involved in the club’s future plans, also openly stated this: he needs a player capable of guaranteeing goals with continuity, although not necessarily destined to play as a starter. The feeling, in fact, is that Dovbyk – barring indispensable offers – will remain the central reference of the Giallorossi attack.Among the most followed profiles is Igor Paixao, the winger currently in force at Feyenoord. His name is one of the most recurrent in the shortlist of Italian clubs, and according to what was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli would also have laid eyes on him. Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna has identified him as one of the possible heirs of Kvaratskhelia, who was sold to Paris Saint Germain in January.
Moreover, even Atalanta, according to tuttoatalanta.com, would be ready to enter the race for the Brazilian, so much so as to evaluate an offer close to 25 million euros, a figure indicated as a base by the Dutch club. This was exactly the amount put on the table already in January by Napoli President De Laurentiis, but Feyenoord had said no.
