Richarlison’s goalscoring woes of last season appear to be firmly a thing of the past.

After joining Tottenham from Everton in the summer of 2022, the Brazilian managed just one Premier League goal in his first season at the club.

But the striker looks reborn under new Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, and he went into Saturday’s meeting with his former club having scored four times in the Premier League already this term.

It didn’t take long for four to become five, as Richarlison slotted away Brennan Johnson’s cross to give his side an early lead.

That’s now four goals in his last three games, making him one of the league’s most in-form strikers.
