Bosnian referee Irfan Peljto will be in charge of Wednesday’s Champions League match between Inter Milan and Monaco.

This is confirmed by UEFA, via FCInterNews. German official Bastian Dankert will be on VAR duty for the match.

Inter take on Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday.

This will be both teams’ final match of the “league phase” of the reformatted competition.

Both Inter Milan and Monaco will feel that they have plenty at stake.

For the Nerazzurri, a draw would be sufficient to ensure that they finish in the top eight. That would see them qualify directly for the round of sixteen.

And a win, meanwhile, would ensure Inter take fourth place in the table.

Monaco, on the other hand, are currently outside of the top eight.

However, a victory would give the Ligue 1 side a good chance of finishing there and qualifying for the knockout rounds without the need of a playoff in February.

The referee for Wednesday’s ’s match will be Irfan Peljto.

Assisting Peljto in his duties will be Davro Beljo and Senad Ibrisimbegovic.

The role of the fourth official, meanwhile, will fall to Milos Gigovic.

In the VAR booth, German referee Bastian Dankert will oversee the match to ensure to correct any errors by the on-pitch officials.

Assisting Dankert in his duties will be Polish referee Piotr Lasyk.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than refereeing controversy.
