Retegui named Serie A Player Of the Month for October | OneFootball

Atalanta and Italy star Mateo Retegui has been named the Serie A Player Of The Month for October.

The Nerazzurri striker is the leading Serie A scorer with 11 goals in 12 appearances. He netted six times in four October games, becoming the best player in the league last month.

“The EA SPORTS FC Player Of The Month award for October has been assigned to Atalanta player Mateo Retegui,” Lega Serie A said in a statement.

The Atalanta striker is expected to lead Italy’s attack this evening as the Azzurri visit Belgium in a Nations League group-stage match.
