Reports in Italy claim that Patrick Dorgu’s move from Lecce to Manchester United is now a done deal barring the few minor details, in what will be a record sale for the Serie A minnows.
According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, United and Lecce have reached an agreement over a total package for the 20-year-old Denmark international, and are now just discussing the final details of the bonuses.
The Pink Paper claims that United will pay a total fee of €38m to sign Dorgu in January, of which €32m-€33m will be guaranteed. The rest will be in the form of bonuses and add-ons.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Dorgu is already packing up his belongings and getting ready for his big move to Manchester.

United had seen a series of bids turned down earlier in the transfer window, as Lecce had been holding out for a €40m fee, but the club have been persuaded to let the player leave for a figure marginally lower than the asking price.
If Lecce do receive €38m for Dorgu, he will become the club’s most expensive sale of all time. In fact, it will almost double the club’s current highest sale: The €19.5m received from Sporting CP for the signing of Morten Hjulmand in the summer of 2023.
Lecce have already announced the signing of two new defenders on Tuesday afternoon: Danilo Veiga and Tiago Gabriel, both of whom are versatile defenders capable of playing at full-back, where Dorgu has most regularly featured.
It is believed that Lecce’s 4-0 loss to Inter over the weekend was Dorgu’s last game in Serie A.
