Tuttosport claim that Juventus have agreed personal terms with Matt O’Riley and are in negotiations with Brighton and Hove Albion, but must sell a midfielder first.
It was no secret that the Denmark international was one of the candidates for the Turin giants, especially with Sporting CP demanding €60m for Morten Hjulmand.
O’Riley would be considerably cheaper and is reportedly eager to move on from Brighton just one year on from his €29.5m move from Celtic.

Roma, Olympique Marseille and Atalanta were also known to be tracking his progress, but Juventus seem to be well in the lead for his signature.
That is because Tuttosport suggested today that the Bianconeri agreed personal terms with a five-year contract worth circa €3m per season net.
However, this investment cannot be made until Juve have sold some of their current midfielders, with Douglas Luiz, Weston McKennie and Fabio Miretti all on the way out.
The asking price is believed to be over €30m, perhaps closer to €40m, for a player who has struggled to find consistency at Brighton and Hove Albion.
