Report – Municipal Documents Contradict ‘Yes To Meazza’ Claims About San Siro Demolition Injunction | OneFootball

Documents from the municipality of Milan contract claims by the “Yes to Meazza” movement about an injunction on the San Siro.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that an injunction against demolition on the San Siro doesn’t come into force until November.

Inter Milan and AC Milan are hard at work trying to build a new stadium.

The two clubs are currently working on plans to build a new stadium adjacent to the existing stadium.

However, that would entail a partial demolition of the existing San Siro.

In the meantime, the “Yes to Meazza” group have attempted to put a stop to any attempts to demolish the San Siro.

And recently, the movement have claimed that the injunction against demolishing the second tier of the stadium is already in effect.

In fact, the group has claimed, the injunction came into force in January of this year.

However, according to Tuttosport, municipal documents from the city of Milan tell a different story.

The newspaper report that, per these municipal documents, the injunction only comes into effect on the 10th of November of 2025.

Therefore, Inter and Milan would have a bit of breathing room with plans.
