Report – Man City Midfielder Offered To Inter Milan & Juventus | OneFootball

Man City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has reportedly been offered to Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews. They report that the Nerazzurri have turned down the 34-year-old, whilst the Bianconeri haven’t made a serious move.

Midfielder Ilkay Gundogan appears likely to leave Manchester City this summer.

The German returned to the Etihad Arena last summer after a season at Barcelona.

However, after the arrival of midfielder Tijani Reijnders, Gundogan does not appear to have a place in Pep Guardiola’s squad. Therefore, City would hardly stand in the way of him finding a new team.

According to Tuttosport, Gundogan’s hope is to move to a team in Serie A.

The German has played in all of the Bundesliga, the Premier League, and La Liga already.

Therefore, the Italian top flight would be the biggest league missing from Gundogan’s resume.

Tuttosport report that Gundogan’s agents have approached both Inter and Juventus.

The newspaper notes that the 34-year-old is even willing to spread the wages remaining on his contract with City over two seasons in order to make a deal financially viable.

However, Tuttosport report, Inter rejected the idea. The Nerazzurri have shifted their focus to younger players rather than veterans. They’ve already signed Petar Sucic and Andy Diouf for midfield.

Meanwhile Tuttosport report, Juventus have not dismissed the idea of signing Gundogan out of hand. However, they have not seriously moved forward to sign the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder.
