Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu remains on the radar of Galatasaray despite Fenerbahce’s genuine interest in the star midfielder.

According to Turkish outlet Now Spor via FCInterNews, the reigning Super Lig holders have rekindled their pursuit of Calhanoglu.

Calhanoglu’s future has been among the major talking points this summer.

Indeed, the 31-year-old has emerged as a concrete target for the two most successful Turkish clubs.

However, Galatasaray’s opening bid for the ex-AC Milan playmaker failed to meet Inter’s demands.

Despite their readiness to offer Hakan Calhanoglu a lucrative contract, Galatasaray refused to put a €30 million bid on the table.

Therefore, negotiations with Inter never took off, resulting in the Rams Park outfit pulling the plug on the deal.

Yet, after withdrawing from the race for the skilled midfielder, Okan Buruk’s men have had a change of heart.

Indeed, they will rival Fenerbahce for Calhanoglu’s services.

On the other hand, Inter are already scouring the market for replacements.
