Valentin Carboni will be in the Inter Milan squad for the FIFA Club World Cup after recovering from a serious knee injury.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908.
Teenage attacking midfielder Valentin Carboni has spent the past several months recovering from a serious knee injury.
In October, Carboni suffered an ACL tear while training with the Argentina national team.
This brought the 19-year-old’s momentum to a screeching halt.
Carboni had joined Marseille on loan last summer. The hope was that he could build on a promising campaign on loan with Monza last time out.
However, Carboni’s ACL injury completely changed plans.

Inter and Marseille agreed on the termination of Carboni’s loan deal.
The Argentine returned to the Nerazzurri, where he has focused on recovering from his injury.
Now, Valentin Carboni is getting closer and closer to recovering.
So much so, reports the Corriere, that the 19-year-old should be ready to return to the pitch this summer.
Next month, Inter travel to the United States for the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to the Corriere, Carboni will be ready to be part of the Nerazzurri squad for that tournament.
The Argentine could hope to use the Club World Cup as a showcase for his talent upon his return from a long injury.
