Rennes interested in former Monaco forward Moussa Sylla | OneFootball

Stade Rennais and Paris FC are interested in former AS Monaco forward Moussa Sylla (25), according to a report from Foot Mercato.

The former Monaco prospect, who came through their prestigious La Diagonale academy, is coming off the back of a strong season in the Bundesliga 2. with Schalke 04. In the Mali international’s first season in Germany, he netted 16 goals in 27 games in the second division.

His form in Germany may now offer him the chance to return to France this summer. As per Foot Mercato, Rennes, who are expected to lose Arnaud Kalimuendo this summer, are interested in Sylla. However, they are not the only ones. Recently promoted and moneyed Paris FC also hold an interest in the 25-year-old. There could also be a chance for the centre-forward to remain in Germany with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
