Real Madrid are not expected to entertain offers to loan out striker Endrick in January, with reports also suggesting the Brazilian has no desire to leave.
Endrick has struggled horribly for minutes since his summer switch to Madrid, with the 18-year-old's ten appearances in all competitions bringing just 122 minutes of action under Carlo Ancelotti.
It was recently reported that Premier League strugglers Southampton had voiced an interest in signing Endrick on loan in January as they seek to pull themselves off the bottom of England's top flight.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, a temporary switch to St Mary's is not on the cards for Endrick.
Endrick is content with continuing to learn in training sessions at Madrid, while club officials also believe his development is best-served by remaining at the Santiago Bernabeu for the time being.
Complicating matters for Endrick is the presence of fellow summer signing Kylian Mbappe, who has been afforded significant minutes despite early struggles to influence the team. The Frenchman has eight goals in 16 games but a look beyond the stats raises questions about his fit alongside Vinicius Junior in the early weeks of the season.
Ancelotti has long been tipped to tweak his formation to address an underwhelming start to the campaign, although finding minutes for Endrick in the most star-studded forward line in Europe will not be an easy task regardless of the setup.
