A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has made clear that he would only be willing to depart the club for one destination this summer.

That’s according to Marca, who highlight Dani Ceballos as the player in question.

Spaniard Ceballos is for his part of course fresh off a season which saw him play a surprisingly prominent role in Madrid.

Afforded the chance to impress in the middle of the park owing to a string of injury problems in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, the former Arsenal man shone bright from his deep-lying role.

As much, however, did not prove enough to ensure for Ceballos a place in the plans of new Blancos headmaster Xabi Alonso for next season.

As things stand, the 28-year-old’s future, in turn, is considered as being somewhat up in the air.

As alluded to above, though, Ceballos himself is clear about one thing: In the case of a departure from Spain’s capital over the weeks ahead, he has only one landing spot in mind.

As per a report from Marca:

‘Ceballos is clear that it’s either Real Betis or Real Madrid. What’s clear to him is that there’s only one possibility on the horizon, preferably two. Continue building his career with Real Madrid, or return home.’
