A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid this week provided a fresh insight into his future with the club.

The individual in question? Vinícius Jr.

Wide-man Vinícius is for his part of course in the midst of something of a whirlwind week to date.

This comes with the Brazilian, fresh off being named FIFA’s ‘The Best’ Player, having played a starring role in Real Madrid’s Intercontinental Cup final meeting with Pachuca.

En route to an eventual 3-0 Blancos triumph, Vinícius bagged a goal and an assist, to secure Man of the Match honours in Qatar.

Safe to say, then, that all associated with the Spanish champions will no doubt be interested to hear of their side’s attacking talisman providing an insight into his plans for the future.

Speaking during an exchange with the media in the aftermath of Wednesday’s victory over Pachuca, Vinícius made use of the opportunity to reiterate his absolute commitment to the cause in Madrid:

“I hope to stay at Real Madrid for many years winning titles.”
