Real Madrid star sends public apology to club’s fans after Arsenal drubbing | OneFootball

A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has taken to social media, to send a message of apology to the club’s supporters.

The player in question? Eduardo Camavinga.

Midfielder Camavinga, like the rest of Real Madrid’s squad, is of course fresh off an evening to forget on Tuesday.

After making the trip to north London for a Champions League quarter-final showdown with Arsenal, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops were condemned to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat.

Camavinga featured from the off in the clash, and was, until the game’s closing moments, one of few Blancos stars who could hold his head high based on his display.

This was until the Frenchman allowed his frustrations to get the better of him.

Already on a yellow card, Camavinga kicked the ball away in frustration, culminating in a 2nd yellow, and ensuing red.

And, evidently, the significance of as much has not been at all lost on the 22-year-old himself.

Taking to his official Instagram account on Wednesday evening, Camavinga unveiled a heartfelt apology post, showcased in full below:
