It has been a difficult season for Eduardo Camavinga at Real Madrid thus far with recurring injuries and lack of continuity in the team affecting the Frenchman.

Following the retirement of Toni Kroos last summer, the former Rennes wonderkid was expected to take on a much bigger role in Carlo Ancelotti’s setup this season but that has not come to be.

Camavinga, more often than not this season, has been below par on the field and has made mistakes that have hurt his team.

Real Madrid open to offers, want €70 million

As such, Fichajes reports that Real Madrid are now open to offers for Camavinga in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Despite not having his best season, the 22-year-old remains a highly sought-after player in the market. His profile fits the plans of teams looking to strengthen their midfield, such as Luis Enrique’s PSG and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

As such, Real Madrid have decided to put a price of €70 million on Camavinga amid growing interest from both PSG and Manchester City. This figure will serve as the starting point for potential negotiations in the summer transfer window.

This season, Camavinga has made 24 appearances across all competitions, contributing one goal and two assists.

Despite his undeniable talent and potential, his inconsistent performances this season have raised doubts. Furthermore, players such as Aurelien Tchouameni, Jude Bellingham, Dani Ceballos, Federico Valverde, and Luka Modric are ahead of him in the pecking order.

Given this situation, the Merengues’ management is considering cashing in on the French international even though his contract runs until 2029.

The interest from PSG and Manchester City could spark a bidding war for Camavinga, although no formal offers have been made yet.
