Rodrygo is one of a number of Real Madrid players staring at an uncertain future this summer, with his continuity likely to depend on how things go in the FIFA Club World Cup.
The 24-year-old rising star was understood to have grown unhappy with his situation at the club over the past few months.
But, things are said to be taking a turn for the better since Xabi Alonso took over the reins a few weeks ago.
Despite that, Rodrygo’s future is still not locked in and as has already been reported, Arsenal continue to hold a strong interest.
Now, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Arsenal’s interest in Rodrygo is very much genuine and concrete, with the Premier League giants already holding exploratory talks over a move back in May.
On top of that, the report states that Real Madrid have slapped a €90 million price tag on the Brazilian international in case there is a possibility of a departure this summer.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and their recruitment team believe that Rodrygo is a player who can be the difference-maker in their bid to win trophies.
Rodrygo, for his part, would join forces with fellow Brazilian stars like Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus, and Gabriel Magalhaes if he moves to the Emirates Stadium.
There have been conflicting reports over the attacker’s stance in recent weeks, with some suggesting that he will continue at Real Madrid while others claim that he is yet to make a decision.
Either way, Arsenal continue to hold a strong interest in the former Santos wonderkid but a move for him will cost €90 million.
Amidst the speculations, Rodrygo looks set to start as the centre-forward for Real Madrid tomorrow in their FIFA Club World Cup opener against Al-Hilal with Kylian Mbappe likely to miss out due to fever.
