According to a recent report from journalist Rodra (h/t Madrid Xtra), Real Madrid’s rising star Arda Guler is set to start in the upcoming El Clasico against Barcelona, barring any unexpected changes.
The Turkish talent has been in excellent form lately, and his performance in the match against Celta showcased his growing importance to the team.
Scoring a brilliant goal, assisting another, and consistently being an option for his teammates, Guler has proven himself as a key figure in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.
The 20-year-old believes he has now earned his place as a starter, a sentiment shared by many of his teammates.
With the highly anticipated El Clasico set for May 11 in Barcelona, Guler is expected to feature from the start, providing further evidence of his rising stature within the squad.

It must be noted that after the win, Ancelotti commented on Guler’s remarkable progress this season, making some intriguing remarks.
“It is clear that the Guler of September isn’t the Guler of today. He’s changed a lot,” the Italian manager said.
“Two months ago, I gave his team a hard time, and now I have to congratulate them because they’ve done a good job,” he added.
These comments are especially notable given Ancelotti’s earlier handling of the talented Turkish midfielder, who faced some criticism for not being given enough opportunities earlier in the season.
However, Guler’s transformation into a regular starter marks a significant turnaround, and his upcoming appearance in El Clasico will be another chance for him to prove he is ready for the biggest challenges.
With the Turkish star showing his potential, it is clear that Real Madrid’s future could very well be in his hands as the season progresses.
