La Liga giants Real Madrid have today been afforded some timely positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Federico Valverde has been passed fit to feature from the off in the club’s next fixture.

Midfielder Valverde for his part set alarm bells ringing in Spain’s capital earlier this week.

This came after the Uruguayan was hooked at the interval en route to Real Madrid’s Champions League defeat at the hands of AC Milan.

Speaking to the media post-match, Carlo Ancelotti went on to reveal that as much came with Valverde having been struggling with a back problem suffered during training in the days prior.

In turn, it will no doubt mark a source of relief for all of a Blancos persuasion to learn that their side’s engine room talisman has since been given the medical green light.

As per a report from club insider Javier Rodríguez Pascual of Relevo:

‘Fede Valverde is fully available for the match against Osasuna this weekend.’
