The last few weeks have been difficult for Real Madrid forward Rodrygo with his form waning and some physical problems also surfacing while rumours of a summer departure started to do the rounds.
The 24-year-old forward was hooked off at half-time during the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona, following which he ended up missing the league game vs Celta Vigo due to fever.
While he did return to the squad for the league Clasico last week, he was not involved and Rodrygo suffered yet another issue in training yesterday which ruled him out of the Mallorca game tonight and potentially for the rest of the league season.
There have been all kinds of speculations surrounding Rodrygo during this period, with some suggesting that the player is no longer happy with his role at Real Madrid and is seeking a summer exit.
It has also been suggested that the Brazilian international has refused to play again for the team unless the situation changes, leading to some tension in the locker room.
However, Rodrygo has now put out a message on social media, thanking his fans for the support while bashing the rumours.

“Thank you for all your messages and concerns. I’ll be back soon. Stop making things up,” he wrote.
If it so happens that Rodrygo decides to seek an exit from Real Madrid, there appears to be no shortage of suitors for the forward.
Indeed, Manchester City and Liverpool, both long-term admirers of the attacker, are keeping a close eye on the situation.
Meanwhile, their Premier League rivals Arsenal have also shown a strong interest in the Real Madrid ace with informal contacts already taking place.
It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds in the coming days as Rodrygo stares at an uncertain future at Real Madrid.
