According to VoetbalPrimeur, Real Madrid have registered serious interest in Abdellah Ouazane, a promising talent from Ajax’s youth academy.
The 16-year-old midfielder plays his matches for the Amsterdammers’ U17 side. Ouazane was admitted to the Ajax youth academy in 2016 and has since become a multiple youth international for Morocco. His performances in the club’s U17 have led to Spanish heads being turned.
Relevo reports that Real are ‘very interested’ in Ouazane, calling the promising midfielder ‘one of Ajax’s biggest stars’. Reports suggest that there has already been contact. It has been known for some time that Ajax are making attempts to sign Ouazane to a longer-term deal. However, these attempts have so far been unsuccessful.
Ouazane usually plays as an attacking midfielder. With Morocco U17, he won the Africa Cup of Nations and was named Player of the Tournament. At the end of April, it was announced that English clubs were also on the lookout for Ouazane.
