Real Madrid have been busy in the summer transfer window, having already closed three first-team signings in Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, and Franco Mastantuono.
The Merengues have also been working towards strengthening the academy with strategic youth signings with an eye on the future.
The squad of the Castilla team, now being managed by Alvaro Arbeloa, is also set to be strengthened imminently.
Indeed, according to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have reached an agreement to sign 20-year-old Almeria striker Rachad Fettal. The young attacker will arrive to strengthen the Castilla squad.
Fettal, 20, is a Spanish-Moroccan centre-forward who has risen through the youth ranks and broken into the first-team setup at Almeria.
So far, the striker has made 21 senior appearances for the second-division outfit, scoring and assisting one goal apiece.
The young striker represented Spain at several youth levels before switching to the Moroccan national team, for whom he has played at the Under-20 level.
Capable of playing as a No. 9 or on the flanks, Fettal only has one year left on his contract with Almeria. And now, Real Madrid have moved in to sign him.
With Gonzalo Garcia expected to secure a first-team spot at Real Madrid next season, Arbeloa will need a new striker to fill the hole in the Castilla squad. And Fettal might be that man.
