Real Betis star in Qatar to finalise transfer | OneFootball

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Betis is on the verge of a move away from the club.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Youssouf Sabaly as the player in question.

Right-back Sabaly has for his part been hotly tipped for a Real Betis exit this summer.

Ahead of the expiration of his contract terms in Seville in 12 months’ time, the Verdiblancos have opened to the prospect of a sale, to ensure a funds boost to make use of on the market.

And as alluded to above, this week, the brass at the Benito Villamarín appear to have found their buyers.

As per a report from MD:

‘Youssouf Sabaly is currently in Doha to undergo medical examinations and finalise the details of his signing for the Qatari club Al Duhail.’

Real Betis are expected to secure a transfer fee in the region of €2 million for the 32-year-old right-back.
