RB Leipzig loan attacking prospect Yannick Eduardo back to Holland | OneFootball

RB Leipzig have confirmed a third consecutive loan out for Dutch-Czech attacking prospect Yannick Eduardo. The 19-year-old spent last season on loan with two separate Dutch Eerste Divisie clubs, BV De Graafschap and FC Emmen. Eduardo is headed back to Holland’s second division to hunt goals for FC Dordrecht. The striker has yet to make a senior team appearance for his Bundesliga club.

Eduardo scored a combined six goals in 34 competitive appearances for his two loan clubs last season. The Czech-born forward also switched his international allegiance last year, picking up caps for the Czech U19s. Eduardo has represented the Netherlands at U18 level and below. Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schäfer made clear that RB would continue to monitor the youngster’s development in his club statement.

“Yannick can continue to gain valuable playing experience in Dordrecht and take the next steps in his professional football career,” Schäfer said. “This is the perfect next step for Yannick and for us to ensure his best possible development. We wish him all the best and every success in the Netherlands.“
