Roma boss Claudio Ranieri was interviewed shortly after the Giallorossi’s 2-0 defeat to Como.
The manager did not mince words when analyzing the team’s performance.
“Como wanted this victory more than us,” he said to Sky Sport.
“Maybe there is fatigue among our ranks, but I don’t care. We should have had more desire to win the match,” he added.
“The officiating? You couldn’t understand how the referee was blowing the whistle. Nothing made sense tonight,” he continued.
“Dovbyk? He’s not 100%, but given all the balls we had in the middle in the first half I put him in but in the second half we weren’t able to play the same game.”
“January window? I am satisfied with how the team is working. If there is an opportunity to improve the squad, I will not back down.”
“I hope that tonight serves us as a lesson, I don’t want any excuses,” he concluded.
