Paris Saint-Germain head to AS Monaco in search of a win that would give them a 10-point lead in Ligue 1. It is a crucial tie for both sides, even before the half-way point of the campaign.
Monaco will be without some key players, notably Radoslaw Majecki, Folarin Balogun, and Christian Mawissa, whilst captain Denis Zakaria is also a big doubt for the Principality club. However, PSG aren’t injury-free either. As reported by Le Parisien, Nuno Mendes is also a big doubt to face Monaco, having missed training the day before the match.
In a press release, PSG stated that the Portgual international had suffered an injury to his right thigh during the win over Olympique Lyonnais on Sunday. He has been allowed to rest rather than train with his teammates. His presence at the Stade Louis II on Wednesday night is therefore in question.
Should he miss the game, the returning Lucas Hernandez could replace him, as could Lucas Beraldo, who has previously featured at left-back.
