PSG snap up highly-rated keeper Lucas Chevalier | OneFootball

PSG have agreed a deal with Lille to bring in highly-rated goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.

The 22-year-old is set to sign a five-year contract, with the fee understood to be in the region of €40 million.

His arrival is bound to raise questions over the future of Gianluigi Donnarumma, with the Italy international now in the final year of his deal.

Donnarumma was superb in PSG’s 5-0 thrashing of Inter Milan in the Champions League final back in May, and would no doubt attract interest from Premier League sides.

It’s thought sporting director Luis Campos has offered Chevalier certain assurances over his role in the squad, with the Frenchman’s composure and distribution suiting Luis Enrique’s preference for building from the back.
