It was reported yesterday that former Barcelona coach Luis Enrique is keen on bringing in Gavi as part of the PSG setup.
The Spanish tactician rates Gavi quite highly and has reportedly requested the PSG board to do everything they can to secure his services.
But it appears Gavi is not the only Barcelona star Enrique is aiming for, as we slowly approach the summer transfer window.
According to Fichajes, Luis Enrique has now set his sights on Alejandro Balde. The 20-year-old left-back, who has become a regular in the Barça starting XI over the past few seasons, is being closely monitored by PSG.
The French champions are in the market for a young, explosive full-back, and Balde fits the profile perfectly. His speed, dribbling, and maturity have made him one of the most exciting left-backs in Europe.

Enrique is said to be a huge admirer of the youngster’s progress and has been closely monitoring the progress of the fullback.
However, acquiring the services of Alejandro Balde will be far from straightforward, as far as PSG are concerned.
The report adds that Balde is considered a crucial part of Hansi Flick’s setup, which is why Barcelona have no intention to sell the player anytime soon.
The club see him as a cornerstone of their rebuilding project and a natural successor to Jordi Alba’s legacy.
That said, it will be interesting to see if Barcelona can be pressured into selling Balde, especially if the club once again face the rigours of the Financial Fair Play rules this summer.
