PSG look to quickly conclude deal to sign Bournemouth’s Illia Zabarnyi | OneFootball

Lucas Chevalier (23) is on the verge of completing his move to Paris Saint-Germain, after the reigning European champions struck a deal with Lille OSC. He now looks set to be joined by Bournemouth’s Illia Zabarnyi (22), according to a report from L’Équipe.

PSG returned to pre-season training on 6th August and that return has coincided with an acceleration in transfer activity. Luis Enrique has been frustrated by the slow window and the inability to get deals over the line. The club have since hit the accelerator. Chevalier is halfway through the door and, as per L’Équipe, the same goes for Zabarnyi. The final details of a €63m agreement are being ironed out currently.

Les Parisiens look set to conclude talks by the end of the week. Zabarnyi will then sign a five-year deal, and PSG are hoping to have him in the squad to face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup next Wednesday. L’Équipe added that all sources have indicated that Zabarnyi will indeed be a PSG player.
