PSG head coach Luis Enrique believes Arsenal will put his team under severe pressure when they meet in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night.

The Gunners travel to Paris a goal down from the first leg after Ousmane Dembele’s early striker gave the visitors a narrow win at the Emirates Stadium.

That leaves Mikel Arteta’s side needing to win by at least two clear goals at the Parc des Princes this week in order to reach the final on 31 May.

A low-scoring affair would benefit PSG, but Enrique says they won’t change the exciting brand of football that has seen them score 17 goals in seven knockout matches in the competition this season.

“It is a special game tomorrow and we will approach it just as we have done until now,” the Spaniard said at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday.

“We’re bound to suffer because our opponents don’t have a favourable result.

“We need to match our performance as closely as possible in the first leg to win the return leg and stay true to our ideas.”

A draw would be enough to see PSG through to their first Champions League final since 2020 and just their second overall, but Enrique insisted they won’t play for anything less than a win against Arsenal.

“There could be many keys. It will be just like the first leg, very tight,” he added.

“There are details we can control and we can replicate from our first-leg performance while staying loyal to things that have got us to this point.

“Tomorrow the game could go in a certain way, but I always say that we won’t play for a draw. We want to show that we are better and play to our strengths.”
