Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal will enter the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal tie after suffering defeats in their respective leagues.
PSG suffered a 2-1 loss to RC Strasbourg at Stade de la Meinau on Saturday, conceding twice in the first half. Bradley Barcola pulled one back after the break to give his side a chance of a comeback. However, the visitors couldn’t find an equalizer, marking their second consecutive Ligue 1 defeat.
In north London, Arsenal also stumbled, falling 2-1 to Bournemouth. The Gunners opened the scoring before the visitors responded with two second-half goals to complete a comeback win.

The Parisians not only lost against Strasbourg, but the capital club also saw Kang-in Lee leave the match early due to an injury.
As reported by Le Parisien, PSG’s No. 19 suffered a blow to the tibia. He remained in pain after the Parisians’ defeat to RCSA and limped heavily toward the team bus.
“While he didn’t have crutches, the PSG player was supported by two staff members to help him onto the bus,” the regional daily noted. Le Parisien concludes that his participation in the Champions League semifinal second leg against Arsenal appears to be in doubt.
In recent weeks, Lee has been a rotational piece as PSG balance Ligue 1 and the Champions League. The South Korean has been on the bench for the tie against Aston Villa and the first leg against Arsenal. It will be interesting to see if losing this bench piece doesn’t harm them, especially with Ousmane Dembélé’s uncertain status.
