Pritchard joins Crystal Palace on loan | OneFootball

Manchester City can confirm Poppy Pritchard has joined fellow Barclays Women’s Super League side Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season.

After playing against Gareth Taylor’s side for Durham in January’s FA Cup tie, she completed a permanent move to City shortly after.

She was then a consistent figure in matchday squads throughout the remainder of the term as she gained vital experience with the Blues before a standout summer on international duty.

During England Under-19s' camp across July, the striker scored four goals in three games including a hat-trick in a superb 10-0 win over Lithuania.

Pritchard then featured in both of our pre-season matches in the Perth International Cup as we beat Leicester in the semi-final and narrowly lost to Paris Saint Germain in the showpiece in Australia.

Now, she’ll join the WSL newcomers for the 2024/25 season following their promotion from the Championship last term.

The 18-year-old signs for the Eagles who impressively won a highly competitive second tier with 46 points after 22 games – winning 14 of their assignments.

And her sparkling potential will be nurtured as Crystal Palace look to establish themselves in the Barclays Women’s Super League.
