West Ham and Arsenal meet at the London Stadium on November 30, 2024 in a game that could mark Riccardo Calafiori’s return to action.
The Italian defender has been forced to the sidelines since October 10 due to a knee injury but is expected to return between the end of November and the start of December.
A former Bologna and Roma defender, Calafiori missed Arsenal’s latest Premier League games against Liverpool, Newcastle and Chelsea, as well as Italy’s Nations League fixtures against Belgium and France in November.
The Gunners collected just one point in three league games without the versatile Italian defender, so his return against West Ham would be a massive boost for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Another Italian defender, West Ham’s Emerson Palmieri, will likely be involved against the Hammers’ city rivals, having already collected 11 Premier League appearances and 857 minutes of football.
Emerson has 29 played 29 games with Italy’s national team, winning the Euros in 2021.

Tickets for the Premier League fixture are available on the official West Ham website. Bondholders, Claret Members, and season ticket holders have priority, while the general sale has been open since October 2. Ticket forwarding and downloads will be available from 11 a.m. on Monday, November 25.
Arsenal have received an allocation of 3,001 tickets for this fixture, which will be in blocks 117, 118, 218, 219 and 220.
Another secure, easy, and fast way to get tickets for West Ham vs. Arsenal is through LiveFootballTickets. The company is rated 4.8 out of five on Trustpilot and offers a 150% money-back guarantee to spend on another event.
Prices for West Ham’s home fixture against Arsenal on LiveFootballTickets range from €138 to just €146.
Calafiori quickly became a regular Arsenal starter before his injury against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League in October. He mostly played as a left-back in Arteta’s four-man defence, scoring his first and only goal for the Gunners on his full debut against title opponents Manchester City.
Arteta played a crucial role in convincing the Italian defender to move to London after the Euros last summer.
“He [Ateta] first wrote to me and then said can I call you,” Calafiori told BBC last month.
“It was so humble and so easy on the phone. He wanted to explain the situation and what they thought about me, what I could improve.
“He tried to convince me but I was already convinced. Not just because it is Arsenal but because it is Mikel.”
