Nico Paz has been performing exceptionally well since leaving Real Madrid for Como in the summer of 2024.

The 20-year-old Argentine prodigy has established himself as one of the hottest prospects in Serie A in his debut season, racking up six goals and five assists from 24 matches.

Given his development, Real Madrid are seriously considering re-signing him in the summer by using their buyback clauses for the youngster.

After all, Los Blancos inserted three buyback clauses in their agreement with Como for Nico – €8 million in 2025, €9 million in 2026, and €10 million in 2027.

Nico Paz wanted in the Premier League

However, it appears that Real Madrid might have some competition in the race to sign Nico Paz, who is attracting major interest from the Premier League.

Indeed, as per a report relayed by Mundo Deportivo, Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City have all taken an interest in Nico Paz.

It is further suggested that Tottenham are showing the most enthusiasm in wanting to sign the former Real Madrid academy ace.

This could come as a concern for Real Madrid and their plans as the appeal of playing in the Premier League could tempt Nico and lead him to opt against a return to the Santiago Bernabeu, where he will have to face intense competition for places.

In the meantime, Como are working to get rid of the buyback clauses Real Madrid have in the agreement so as to gain full control over the attacking prodigy’s future and keep him at the club for a long time.

So, it promises to be an eventful summer for Nico, who has made the most of his short spell in Italy and has some of the biggest clubs in Europe chasing his signing.
