Porto reportedly eying Barcelona youngster to replace Nico González | OneFootball

Heads were turned earlier today as Manchester City agreed a €60 million move with Porto for former Barcelona youngster Nico González.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Porto are now eying another Barça youngster to replace the outgoing González, with Pablo Torre topping their list of potential replacements.

Torre has had some great performances for Barcelona this season, namely against Sevilla earlier this season and against Barbastro in the Copa del Rey, where he was man of the match.

The 21-year-old has still struggled to fully carve his place out in Hansi Flick’s plans, making a departure a potentially appealing prospect.

It would be a strangely similar deal to Nico González’s move to Portugal, as he too was struggling to break into the Barça starting lineup when he made the switch.

Negotiations are currently ongoing between the two parties, but there is nothing concrete agreed as of yet.
