Thursday’s reports claim that Porto are prepared to lower their initial asking price for winger Francisco Conceicao, who spent the 2024-25 season on loan with Juventus, who are trying to bring the player back on a permanent basis.
Conceicao joined Juventus on a straight loan deal for the 2024-25 season. The Bianconeri paid a fee of €7m and up to €3m in bonuses in a deal that did not include an option to buy. Reports from Corriere dello Sport suggest that Juve eventually paid a total of €9m to have Conceicao on board last season.
As there was no option or obligation to buy clause included in Juventus’s original deal with Porto, they are left having to negotiate a fee in their attempt to bring Conceicao back on a permanent basis.

It is understood that Conceicao has a release clause in his contract worth €30m, which will rise to €45m from July onwards.
Recent reports claimed that Juventus had an initial offer in the region of €22m turned down by Porto.
However, according to updates from Corriere dello Sport, Porto are willing to accept an offer in the region of €25m for Conceicao, which leaves a small gap of just €3m to be bridged.
According to Thursday’s report, Juventus are also still considering the possibility of negotiating a new loan deal for Conceicao with an obligation to buy clause included.
