Midfielder Piotr Zielinski insists that “nothing’s finished” in the Serie A title race between Inter Milan and Napoli.
The Polish international spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews. He also expressed the hope that he can regain his best form soon.
Inter Milan head into this evening’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona six points behind Napoli at the top of the league table.
However, the Nerazzurri can close that gap to three points with a win today. That would take them to within one result of the league leaders.
There is certainly a feeling that the momentum has gone against Inter after recent setbacks against the likes of Bologna and Roma.
However, Inter will have to have faith that Napoli will slip up at least once in their remaining three matches.
Moreover, the Partenopei’s performances in recent matches against teams like Venezia, Monza and Lecce suggests that it is far from impossible that they will drop points again before the end of the campaign.

Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski said that it’s been “a great season from Inter.”
“It’s been a bit stop-start for me,” he added. “Because when I was in good form, injuries happened.”
The Polish international admitted that “I struggled a lot with the last one I had.”
“But I hope that I can return to top form as soon as possible.”
“For the last few matches of the season in the league and the Champions League.”
Of his getting the chance in the Inter starting eleven against Verona this evening, Zielinski said that “Obviously it’s not just important for me.”
“It’s also important for the other players who haven’t gotten as much playing time,” the 30-year-old said.
“We have to give positive signs to the coach.”
Of the title race, Pior Zielinski insisted that “Nothing’s finished yet.”
