Wingback Nicola Zalewski says that he “feels the faith” from everyone at Inter Milan ahead of his full debut against Cagliari.
The Polish international spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, ahead of this evening’s Serie A clash. He also looked back on the emotions of beating Bayern Munich last week.
Wingback Nicola Zalewski is set to make his first ever start for Inter this evening.
The 23-year-old joined the Nerazzurri on loan from Roma during the January transfer window. He arrived to replace Tajon Buchanan.
Zalewski has certainly made his contribution so far at Inter.
In a highly memorable debut for the Nerazzurri, the Pole came off the bench and provided the assist for a stoppage time equalizer against AC Milan in the derby.
However, as of yet, Zalewski has yet to start a match.
That does not mean, however, that the 23-year-old doesn’t have the trust of Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.
On the contrary, the Nerazzurri coach has decided to give Zalewski the nod this evening.
With the fixture list piling up, Inter will need contributions from everyone in their squad.

Wingback Nicola Zalewski said ahead of this evening’s match against Cagliari that “I’m feeling great.”
“I feel the faith from the coach, from my teammates, and especially from the fans,” he continued.
Zalewski insisted that “I feel good here.”
“I try to help out when I can, and when I’m called upon.”
Meanwhile, Zalewski recalled Inter’s win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek. “These kinds of matches help us on a mental level,” he said.
“You definitely feel less tired when you win matches like that.”
The Pole made clear that “our goal is always to win.”
“And today is the same as ever,” he added.
Zalewski added that winning in Munich was “all incredible.”
“We played a great match,” he continued. “We suffered the way great teams do.”
“Then when it was 1-1 we weren’t satisfied. And we had the strength to bring home the result, particularly thanks to the players off the bench.”
