Lazio (4-2-3-1)

Christos Mandas – 6

The Greek was beaten twice by Ondrejka, but pulled off a superb stop on Dennis Man to keep Lazio in the game.

Adam Marusic – 5.5

The Montenegrin was caught out of position on the opener, but produced a timely intervention later in the first half.

Mario Gila – 5.5

The Spaniard was drawn out of the box on the first Parma goal while covering for Marusic, and paid the price for a mix-up with Guendouzi on the second.

Alessio Romagnoli – 5.5

The former Milan captain failed to block Ondrejka’s shot on the first goal, but he did fairly well in his battle against Mateo Pellegrino.

Luca Pellegrini – 6.5

The left-back instigated the first Lazio goal and provided the assist on the second, producing excellent outswingers on both occasions. Dennis Man left him in the dust on a late counter-attack, but the Aquile escaped unscathed.

Matteo Guendouzi – 5.5

This was one of the Frenchman’s worst displays in recent memory. Constantly wasted possession as his touch wasn’t on cue.

Nicolo Rovella – 5

The Italian Regista was never able to orchestrate the play as he usually does. Found little success with vertical plays.

Gustav Isaksen – 5

A disappointing outing from the Dane who failed to inflict damage from the right wing.

Boulaye Dia – 5

The Senegalese attacker had a forgettable showing and squandered a few opportunities. He was unsurprisingly the first player hooked off by Baroni.

Mattia Zaccagni – 5.5

The Lazio captain allowed frustration to get the better of him in the first half. Released Isaksen with a clever flick, but that was his only real highlight.

Taty Castellanos – 6

The Argentine showcased his instinct for goal as he latched onto a long ball before sliding to the ground to beat Suzuki, but it was ruled out for offside. He lacked proper service otherwise.

Substitutes

Pedro – 8

A sensational cameo from the former Barcelona star, and not just because he bagged a brace that spared Lazio the blushes. The team’s rhythm instantly improved following his introduction, as he managed to find his teammates with exquisite through balls.

Loum Tchaouna – 6

The young Frenchman was an upgrade on Isaksen, something we don’t say every day. His volley paved the way for Pedro’s first goal.

Matias Vecino – 6.5

The experienced midfielder added some much-needed depth in the final third. His timely runs to the box caused havoc for Parma.

Tijjani Noslin – 5.5

The Dutchman had the chance to score from close range, but couldn’t connect well with the ball.
