Inter began the month in disappointing fashion, drawing 2-2 at home against Bologna.

But ever since then, the Nerazzurri went from strength to strength.

Inzaghi masterminded wins over Torino and Roma after the October international break. This saw the Nerazzurri climb to the top of the Serie A table.
