Pedulla states Coppa Italia is not enough for Milan this season: “It ends here” | OneFootball

Despite still being in the Coppa Italia, Alfredo Pedulla has stated that the season for AC Milan is already done with top four seeming like a miracle away.

Losing to Bologna has come with a number of consequences for Milan, and it is an unfortunate reality for Milan. However, it has not come about without the aid of their own incompetencies. Instead, the situation is almost entirely their own fault.

From top to bottom, there are several errors that have been made from the start of the season until now, and with a few months still left to play, it is likely that more mistakes will be made.

Any hope for the rest of the season has vanished, understandably, after the defeat on Thursday night, and now it is a case of why that happened, and how things can be fixed.

Speaking to Sportitalia, Pedulla spoke about the difficulties of the Rossoneri’s situation, whilst also touching on the problems that Sergio Conceicao is faced with. Courtesy of Milan News, his words can be found below.

“For me, it [the season] ends here, because if we have to stick to the Coppa Italia, which last night produced disasters, but it’s a different story when you lose the Coppa Italia like that against Empoli compared to the bailout which is not a bailout.

“It’s just something to keep the attention alive and make a turnaround when you can’t do anything else in January. But there has never been a why, and in all of this in my opinion there is a logic, put the point and go to the end.

“You have to clean up, start again, don’t think that one will do you every other game, and do order from now on. Here’s the big advantage in the discouragement of the average Milan fan is that it can be done now.”
